Wind and rain didn′t deter the guys (and delivery trucks) from coming in and gearing for Fall. The Guy Cotton order has come in. The Surf tops are sweet. (I got mine LOL) Along with the bibs and 2 other style tops. Berkeley Striper Club Montauk trip is this weekend and I′ll be out of the shop. But, anyone of the staff can accept reel repairs to be done upon my return.

Todays weather (UGH) Windy with periods of rain. High 66F. Winds NE at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

A lil bit of wind today....
Yesterday the bluefish were terrorizing the Mullet pretty much up and down the beach.
Today ...Maybe not so much. You′ll never know if ya don′t try. Back bay reports have been good, maybe a spot away from the wind could turn out to be worth it. can check all your hooks and rigs from the spring and change hooks and retie as needed.
We all the have Spro and Rosco (USA Made) split rings in stock you2ll need.
Also, we are awaiting our first shipment of GUY COTTEN
rainwear. As we are now an Authorized Dealer.
I2m very impressed with the Surf top.

Showers early, becoming a steady rain for the afternoon. Windy. High 68F. Winds ENE at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of rain 70%

Yesterday we had multiple reports of Bass and Blues along with an angler getting an Albacore from the Jetty.
Some of the Blues are getting bigger.
The promised NE wind will certainly trigger the appetite of the mix of Bass and Blues that are in our area.Huge schools of Mullet and adult Bunker have been spotted.
We also have reports of a buildup of Bass behind the Island and the Sedges. Apparently the Bass that were in the river are staging to exit. I know this weather will prompt them.
I′m gonna try to get out there today. But, with Ray′s ordering everything he see,s he′s got us buried in here in boxes.

NE winds today chance of rain and a Hi of 71.
Just the weather I like for a fall day.

Mullet insanity...
Huge numbers of mullet are on the beaches with Blues and some Bass on their tails. You had your chance for Fluke now it′s shelved till next year. We have tons of fresh Mullet.
Todays forecast is 75 and south winds.

Better late than never...
Sorry about the late report today. Grumpy decided to live the life of leisure and take a day off. 2 Bass hit our scales along with some Fluke yesterday. Heard of after dark Bass on plugs. Reports of bluefish and fluke today continue. A perfect beach day. Temps hovering around 70 and light winds from the N-NW.
