Fluke Blues or Bass? Take the easy choice and look for all three! Opening day Fluke was good in both the shark and Manasquan Rivers, didn′t hear much from the beaches, maybe because of the Bluefish and Bass distraction? There are Bunker schools in the area with fish on them so have your snags ready. Blues were in the surf most of the day on poppers and chunks. Some Bass were caught on chunks and one hit the scale at 19 lbs. Ocean water temps are into the low 60s. Crabs are beginning to show up on the local docks too!
We are expecting an order of CCW Custom Wooden Plugs today. First come first serve on these premium lures! Even More T-Shirts arrived yesterday along with lots of other stuff!
The weather idiots have this - Mainly sunny. High 61F. NNW winds shifting to S at 10 to 15 mph.

Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more updates!

Breakfast on the way to the beach, or lunch, or both!!
3Cs luncheonette is open from 5am till 3pm this weekend! Central Ave at 10th St. Great food, nice people and good prices too!

We are accepting donations to help Ponytail Mike with his expenses while he is battling liver cancer! The only thing we want him to worry about is recovering fully from this horrible disease and not how he will be able to pay his bills. If you can help, we are accepting donations in the store or if you prefer, online at the Facebook page that we have created to post updates on his progress.

Happy Fluke Day!
Fluke season opens today! We have everything you need to get your Fluke season off to a good start, including the new monthly exclusive limited edition S&S Buckktail! Daily bag limit - 5 fish at 18 inches minimum. IBSP is a special zone again just like last year with a daily bag limit of 2 fish at 16 inches minimum. There will be a check station to tag your fish so you are legal when you travel home.
Make sure you have Bunker Snags handy before you hit the beaches! More and more Bunker are moving into our area and there are Bass and Blues with them! They got tantalizingly close but were just out of reach. The kayakers and boaters got to them and scored. We did hear of a few Big Blues and Bass on chunks and heads. Ocean water temps are right around 60.
Lots of boxes opened yesterday after Rays latest ordering spree! More SuperStrikes, S&S Bucktails, St. Croix Rods, 2 or 3 hundred T-Shirts (including a fish scale moisture wicking one) and a bunch of other stuff!
The weather idiots have this - Generally sunny despite a few afternoon clouds. High 73F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph.

Big Blues are Back!
And they came hungry with one customer reporting a double on Clams (not unheard of but not common either)! We had reports of them from scattered locations on all the local beaches and they came and went pretty much all day! The reports of Bass on Clams came in on and off yesterday with no keepers reported but the night guys doing the afterwork thing got some Big Bass overnight!

We are loaded up on all your Fluke needs and pretty much everything else due to Rays buying habits. Once we get all the boxes open that have arrived, I will get you a summary

No crowds on the beaches yesterday, just like most Mondays. We did have one Bass on the scale taken with Clams in the surf and some reports of Blues on poppers. The forecast will keep a lot of people home today so grab the raingear and enjoy the abundant fishing room!
The weather idiots have this - Rain this morning. Scattered thunderstorms for the afternoon. Gusty winds and small hail are possible. High 69F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70%.

Slow Day Yesterday!
I didnt get the official results from the Governors Cup yesterday but by all reports, not a lot of fish caught! Very disappointing with the good, if not great, fishing we have been enjoying lately.
The bright spot would be the reports we were getting late yesterday afternoon of multiple Bass caught on Clams. Maybe with the Blues thinning out the Bass have a chance to come in finally?
The weather idiots have this - Partly cloudy. High 67F. Winds ENE at 10 to 20 mph.

The new Bass regs are in effect! One Bass from 28 to 42.9999 inches, one Bass over 43 inches! It doesnt matter which one you get first! There is NO BONUS program until September!
