Another Nice One!

Yet another good lookin beach day! We had a customer looking to get a Fluke dinner catch a nice dinner sized Bass on a whole Squid. He kept trying and got his Fluke too! No reports on Bluefish yesterday. I suspect we had more people working on their tan than we had workin on catching fish!
Another huge GULP delivery arrived yesterday and more is due in today along with a bunch of reels that we sold out of this weekend! Ray is not shy when he places orders. I hope to teach him a number smaller than a gross someday!
The weather idiots have this - Mostly sunny skies. High near 75F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.

Nice Beach day!
Work on your tan while you are working on getting a nice Fluke dinner! GULP with a Bucktail Jig and a teaser is your meal ticket! Lots of Snappers have found their way into the surf zone. They are also a great Fluke bait if you can get some with a sabiki rig. We are hearing about some Blues, mostly under 5 lbs. and mostly on Mullet. The dusk into dark Shark guys are coming in with some good reports of Brown Sharks in the four foot plus range. Grab some Beach Shark Rigs and some bunker and get in on the fun!
The weather idiots have this - Generally sunny. High 74F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

God gave Mike both lips and a brain, but only enough blood to work one at a time!

Its Monday!
That means less traffic and less crowded. We are looking at a nice day, if a bit breezy, after the overnight rains leave town. Other than a nearly 12 lb. Blue weighed in yesterday, the Blues are mostly in the 2-5 lb range and loving Mullet. A lot of bait is showing up in the surf so get the poppers and metals working. Fluke remain the top target and GULP on a Bucktail Jig with a teaser has been working well. The afterwork gang are having fun with the sharks, mostly Browns but a Blue was reported.
The weather idiots have this - Sunshine along with some cloudy intervals. High 79F. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph.

Mike never has to worry about getting a brain freeze from a 7-11 slurpee!

Some Nice Fluke!
We are still seeing a decent Fluke bite in the surf and had a 3.85lb Fluke on the scale yesterday from the surf, caught with GULP. The blues were playing hard to get yesterday with some scattered fish caught with Mullet. The bait in the surf is building up with Snappers and now some Peanut Bunker are finding their way out of the inlets. Might be a good time to dust off those artificials and see what turns up. The dusk into dark Shark fishing has turned up some Browns. We have two styles of Beach Shark Rigs and you just need to add Bunker or Mackerel.
The weather idiots have this - Partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms in the morning. High 78F. Winds SSW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

Mike must be very open minded. All of his brains got out somehow.

Just in Time for Shark week!
The Brown Sharks are here and the dusk into dark guys have come up with some nice ones. We have two nice beach shark rigs and you can bait them with Bunker or Mackerel. The Fluke bite is pretty good on the surf. Snappers have made their way into the surf and the Fluke are loving it. If you can get some they make a good bait, otherwise, stick with the Bucktail Jig tipped with GULP. Some blues are being caught mostly with Mullet. The Crabbing and Snapper fishing in the bay is really good. Plenty of dinner guests going home daily.
The weather idiots have this - Considerable clouds early. Some decrease in clouds later in the day. High 77F. Winds SSW at 10 to 20 mph.

Super Beach Day!
Not only is the forecast great, the Fluke bite has really picked up. We are hearing about plenty and weighed in one at 4.55 lbs from the surf yesterday. Gulp and Bucktail Jigs are getting the job done! Snappers have moved into the surf! Catch yourself some with a sabiki rig and try live lining them for Fluke. The Sharks are back! We had some solid reports of Browns that moved in with the warmer water. Even you guys with the annoying day job can get out for the dusk into dark fun! We have two excellent beach shark rigs! The Crabbing in the Bay has gotten really good. Lots of dinner guests going home!
The Point Pleasant Elks Fluke Tournament is tomorrow! We are well stocked with everything you need. Check out our wide selection of Bucktail Jigs by S&S Bucktails, Spro, The old Mans Tackle Box and Andrus, one of the largest selections of Gulp in the area, Frozen baits and Fluke rigs etc. etc. etc.
The weather idiots have this - Mostly sunny. High 74F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph.

Mike needs a surge protector. It would protect his mouth from any spurious brain activity!
