Friday 8/18 Sharks!
Thursday, August, 17, 2017 at 8:56PM
The swell has pretty much died and the sharks have made a come back after 2 days of pretty tough conditions. We heard of several caught and a bunch of hook-ups. Most of our reports came after dark and from IBSP. We also heard of more cownose and butterfly rays. Had a nice Fluke hit the scale on a Live Snapper. We got in a cooler full of Fresh Bunker for the sharkers. We also have Plenty of Jumbo Mackerel! Weather doesn′t look the greatest Friday but there′s some life out here. Todays weather...Thunderstorms in the morning, then cloudy skies late. High 81F. Winds S at 15 to 25 mph

There′s some Fluke Tournaments this Saturday and we got in a bunch of Fluke stuff. Spro Bucktails, S&S Bucktails dropped off a big order of rattle tails/Gulp heads, and tons of Gulp in all the popular colors and styles. Weekend looks good!..........Ray

Not a ton of anglers out Wednesday. Heard of a few Fluke down in the park on Gulp. We had a big ground swell Wednesday but I just saw the surf and it′s definitely calming down. Snappers are still all over the bay. Todays weather....Partly cloudy. High 77F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph

We have a bunch of repaired reels that haven′t been picked up! If you got a call about your reel being done please pick up ASAP. We′re running out of room. Same goes for Rod repairs!.............Ray

Wednesday 8/16 Some Nice Fluke!
Polish Al came in with a pair beautiful Fluke from IBSP. There′s some nice Fluke to be caught you just have to work for them. Gulp is all you need unless you can get live snappers. We also have some nice Fluke in the bay. Fluking on the boats remain very good outside with some Jumbos showing up. Didn′t hear anything from the sharkers. Did get a few reports of Kingfish on bait. Todays weather looks much better! Intervals of clouds and sunshine. High 82F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph

Fluke season is open for another 21 day! Go enjoy what we have left! Remember IBSP Shore is 2 fish and 16″! We have everything you need from Bucktails to Gulp to Premo Baits. Open Early-Close Late.........Ray

Not as many guys out but we did hear of some Fluke and had a nice one weighed in by Wes Darcy from land. Heard of several Sharks caught and the Rays are still all over. We got in a bunch of Fresh Bunker for the sharkers! Want to have fun? Go hit the local docks or even the surf for the small snapper blues. They′re having a blast with small metal and snapper poppers. Todays weather...Thunderstorms likely in the morning then Partly Cloudy. High 76F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph.

We got in a bunch of the NEW D-Blue Classic Surf Series Rods. Awesome Surf Rods for the money. We have sizes 8′-11′. All 2 piece rods with awesome ratings. Range anywhere from $90-$120! Come check them out......Ray

We got reports of Sharks and Rays especially in the evening hours. Some Sand Tigers are back in the area too! Fluking is ok off the beach. The closer you get to the inlet the better. The snapper blues have totally invaded the area in both the bay and surf. Few kingfish being caught in the IBSP surf as well. Today′s weather.... Partly Cloudy. High 80. Winds ESE 5-10mph. ......... Saturday 8/12
Catch of the day goes to Jack! He caught a 5.70lb Blue on the local dock using a snapper popper and light tackle rod! Still some big blues in the bay! Heard of several caught on artificials. Fluking down in the park is getting better by the day. Most of the Fluke are smaller but there′s some nicer ones mixed in. Sharking remains good! The rays are all over the place taking anything you put in the water. Last night was tough fishing for the sharks because there was so many rays around. Crabbing is good but lots of small ones. Todays weather...Mixed clouds and sun with scattered thunderstorms. High 77F. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph.

Here′s a list of some of the items we got in this week: Guy Cotton Jackets, Daiwa BG Reels, More Grumpy Clothing, Tica Rods, Boga Grips, Shimano Plug Bags, Crab Traps, Rod Geeks Blanks, St. Croix Blanks, Costa Sunglasses.....

Good luck to everyone entering all the Fluke Tournaments this weekend. We′ll be open early and late if you need anything! Tons of Bucktails and Gulp in stock! ..........Ray
