It was like a ghost town yesterday so there is nothing new. I have heard that there is some sort of sporting event that may have captured some peoples interest temporarily. If you are not one of those easily distracted ones, there is plenty of fishing room on the beaches!

We Have A Nice Day, Use it Wisely!
Reasonable Temperature, Ocean water temps in the low 40s and light winds. Not bad for February. Might just be a good day to try to put a Bass on the scale for the Polar Bear Tournament! Been putting off bringing in those reels that need some TLC? Today would be a good day to get that done before the last minute crush hits. Been meaning to get that custom rod ordered? Same Old, Same Old.......
Its tough to get a report together when no one is taking advantage of this unseasonably warm weather. The next coule of days will be a bit cooler but still much nicer than the frigid winter of last year. The ocean water temps are still hanging in the low 40s so get yourself a little fresh air and sunshine (and maybe a Bass).Here is the latest from the talking heads - Sunny and breezy. Another opportunity today!
Maybe it was too windy yesterday and everybody just stayed home? I did expect to see a few diehards trying for that Polar Bear Tournament weigh-in but that didnt happen. Much less wind today so give it a shot and take advantage of the mild winter and warmer than uaual water temps.The weather idiots have this to say - Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain this morning...then partly sunny this afternoon. Highs around 50. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent. It turns out Mike can be very useful. Just put a lens in each ear and he serves as a telescope! Grumpy hisself

Balmy today!
I looked at the calendar to make sure it was still winter. I expect to see a few guys on the beaches today getting a little fresh air and sunshine. Dead stick a salted clam on a 4/0 hi-lo rig and throw some small plugs and see if you can get lucky!Here is the latest and greatest from the weather idiots - Mostly cloudy with isolated showers this morning...then partly sunny this afternoon. Breezy with highs around 60. West winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent. Been thinking about a custom rod? Now is the time to act if you want it by spring! The backlog of orders has remained constant all winter so far with new orders coming in at about the same rate as rods are completed. Light travels faster than sound! 49 days until Spring!
We have had a pretty mellow winter so far and it doesnt look bad if you wanted to look for one of those Polar Bear Tournament Bass today. Doubtful you would have to deal with any crowds today.The weather idiots are gonna try this today - Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 50s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. It is time to stop putting off bringing in those reels and rods that need some TLC! The same thing happens every year with a last minute rush to get ready.
