2 Nice Bass weighed in...
We had 2 nice Bass weighed in by Zoltan yesterday morning. He took them on Bucktails off the local surf. Talk of the day was the amount of Rainfish that was in the area. We also have an insane amount of Bunker Manasquan north with Large Bass in them. Boat guys are having a blast. Some of the Bunker are coming in close enough to snag. Just have to be in the right spot at the right time.. Heard of one other keeper caught yesterday off the surf that was released and a few other shorts on Clams. We still have a good amount of those 1-3 pound blues on Mullet..Seems like everything is shaping up! Here′s todays weather...Partly cloudy. High 68F. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph.

The nice weather continues...
Lots of anglers out yesterday but reports were kind of slim. We did hear of a keeper and a few shorts caught at first light. Also talked to a few guys that did well with small Blues on Mullet. Some really good fishing to the north of us on the boats. Mostly a snag and drop bite with fish in the 20 plus pound range. And I tell you what they′re not that far out! We′ll see what this week brings.
We got a monster order of Super Strikes over the weekend. Lots of colors and styles in stock! Looking for the new Shimano Long Distance Rods and Reels? Got a big delivery last week. Two monster orders last week so the shops full. Grump should be happy! Todays weather...A mainly sunny sky. High 63F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.........Ray

Another Beauty today!
The Bass continue to move into our area. We had another one hit the scale yesterday and it was Cory′s first keeper off the surf! Guided by local legend Don Worth.. Congrats Cory! Everyone I talked to had a different report. Some guys didn′t even get a hit and some guys actually did pretty darn well.. The fish are just starting to move into our area so you have to put your time in.. SP Minnows thrown in the early morning/ later evening hours has been producing fish the past couple days. They′re also producing a few fish during the daytime hours on Fresh Clams.. We got another beauty today! Todays weather.....Sunny. High 61F. Winds WNW at 15 to 25 mph.........Ray

Is this the start of the run?
Had a Beautiful Bass hit the scale right before closing last night. Fish was caught by Tom Carter and weighed 27.15Lbs. He took it on a Clam off the IBSP Surf. We got a decent amount of reports of Bass on Clams and Metal yesterday. Could this be the start of the run? I think it just might be.. There′s definitely a body of Fish to the north of us and it seems like we got some fish starting to trickle into our area now. Break out the Clams and Skinny Metal/Teasers.
More orders arrived yesterday from Shimano and G-Loomis. To much to list just come check us out. The fullest the shops ever been and we can only thank one person. YOU! Thanks to all our loyal customers for their many years of patronage. It is because of your support that we′ve been able to build this Monster! Todays weather.....It′s a beauty! Sunny. High 67F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph..........Ray

Some decent weather for a change! More Stock added
We got the bad weather out of here and the weather looks pretty darn good...We′ll have westerly winds for the foreseeable future which should help the fishing. Maybe the past storm will get things going?? Didn′t hear anything yesterday due to the weather.
Was able to unpack the huge order yesterday which included the NEW Abu Garcia 6500 & 7000 Blue Yonders, 6500 c3 Striper Specials (Yes it′s Back!), 7000I′s, and 7000IC3′s...All the NEW Penn Battle II′s in stock! We also got NEW Penn Rods and Reels.. We now carry Spider wire Ultra Cast Invisi-Braid. Feedback on this braid has been awesome so we added it in.. Big Order of Sportfish Product Umbrella Rigs. We′ve been very busy adding to an already stacked shop. Go Big or go home we like to say! Todays weather.....Sunshine along with some cloudy intervals. High 63F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.
