Decent Looking Day!
Saturday, April, 25, 2015 at 3:18AM
And on a weekend too! Chilly start, warming up later and light winds finally! Not many fishermen out this last week due to high winds but still a lot of reports of Bass. The after work gang reported some keeper bass last night on Clams and we are hearing of some Blues in the surf too! The bay continues to turn up Bass, mostly on small plugs and Blues are being reported anywhere from 2-10 lbs.
The Rt. 35 reconstruction continues. The gravel base course is down and curb is next. Just park by the Marina Green and walk across the street.
Bring in those reels that need some TLC before the last minute rush hits! Frankie has worked his way through the backlog and the wait time is minimal!!!
The weather idiots have this - Partly cloudy. High 56F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

3Cs luncheonette has reopened! 7am till 3pm! Breakfast on the way to the beach, or lunch, or both!! Central Ave at 10th St. Great food, nice people and good prices too!

We are raising funds to help Ponytail Mike with his expenses while he is battling liver cancer! The only thing we want him to worry about is recovering fully from this horrible disease and not how he will be able to pay his bills. If you can help, we are accepting donations in the store or if you prefer, online at the Facebook page that we have created to post updates on his progress.

The Wind Is Gone!
The forecast looks decent with reasonable winds today. We only had a handful of fishermen out yesterday with shorts and borderline keeper Bass on clams reported. The afterwork guys also reported a good bite in both the Bay and the surf. There is a wide range of sizes to the Blues in the bay with 2lb fish on one cast and 10 lb ones on the next. I wouldnt be surprised if some of them have found thier way out to the beaches.

Fishermen Wanted!
Severely underpopulated beaches yesterday which doesnt make for a fishing report! We have a windy day again today but its outta the west which makes the bay tough and should be no real problem on the beach. The ocean water temps are right around the 50 mark.
Yesterday, they put the gravel base course down in the road so we should see curbs and blacktop soon. For now, just park accross the street by the Marina Green and walk over.

Lotsa Life!
The blues have invaded the bay! The first report was all in the 1-3 lb range, then, reports of some approaching the 10 lb mark! Small plugs are the ticket but you may want to wet some poppers too! There is plenty of fishing room on the beaches but even with only a few fishermen we are getting reports of Bass! One fella came back for more clams and had released a keeper at about 30 inches. We have FRESH CLAMS and FRESH BUNKER.
Frankie has made it through the backlog of reel repairs and is ready for more! Time is short before the spring season kicks into high gear so get those reels in need of TLC dropped off quickly before everybody else does.
The weather idiots have this - Becoming windy with showers in the afternoon. Thunder possible. High around 60F. Winds SSW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

3Cs luncheonette has reopened! 7am till 3pm! Breakfast on the way to the beach, or lunch, or both!! Central Ave at 10th St. Great food, nice people and good prices too!

EASY DIRECTIONS to the shop while the reconstruction of Rt. 35 grinds on - Just park across the street by the Marina Green and walk over! They have begun the repaving work so it wont be much longer until we have a road again.

Back to Fishin
A good lookin day today after yet another lousy forecast yesterday when the rain came earlier and was nice later! No reports from yesterday but I would think that you would rather make the reports than read them so get out there and find yourself some fish!

Not Very Pretty!
The forecast for the morning is so-so but the afternoon looks ugly. Short Bass in the reports again from all the local beaches yesterday and clams are the bait of choice. If you want to try it today, do the early thing just in case they have this forecast right and nasty weather comes in this afternoon! We have plenty of fresh clams and fresh bunker.
The weather idiots have this - Windy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the morning becoming more widespread in the afternoon. High 62F. SSE winds at 25 to 35 mph, decreasing to 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 100%.
