Cooler at the Shore!

Another hot one, not that we are complaining after the last winter deep freeze. The Special Fluke Zone at IBSP (2 fish at 16 inches) is putting dinner on more than one table but you wont see them on the weigh-in list because few people take the time with small fish. Bucktail Jig/Gulp with a Gulp Teaser is the way to go! Mackerel and/or Fresh Bunker on a Beach Shark Rig is a good way to spend a hot summer night! Crabbing and Snappers are keeping the Bayside people busy. Blowfish seemed to have slowed down somewhat.
The weather idiots have this - Intervals of clouds and sunshine. High near 85F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph.

Check out the Daily Specials at 3Cs Luncheonette! Open from 7am till 3pm! Central Ave at 10th St. Great food, nice people and good prices too! Voted the No. 1 Breakfast spot!!!!

We are accepting donations to help Ponytail Mike with his expenses while he is battling liver cancer! The only thing we want him to worry about is recovering fully from this horrible disease and not how he will be able to pay his bills. If you can help, we are accepting donations in the store or if you prefer, online at the Facebook page that we have created to post updates on his progress.

Decent Beach Day!
Not as pretty as this last weekend but certainly way better than going to that annoying day job! The best bet from the surf is still Fluke with Rick Sauvigne bringing a nice one to the scale at 5.35 lbs, caught on a teaser. Blues are scattered here and there with cut bunker on fireball rigs getting a few. Thinking of trying your luck with the night Shark bite? We have Beach Shark Rigs, Mackerel and fresh Bunker. Cow Nose Rays are in the area so keep a close eye on your rod!
The weather idiots have this - A few clouds early, otherwise mostly sunny. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 82F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

Check out the Daily Specials at 3Cs Luncheonette! Open from 7am till 3pm! Central Ave at 10th St. Great food, nice people and good prices too! Voted the No. 1 Breakfast spot!!!!

Oh Well!
The evil weatherman wants to try to punish us for enjoying some stellar beach weather. Bring some rain gear so you wont need it? Things were quiet on the beaches again yesterday with some Fluke on Bucktails/Gulp the only thing I heard. Crabbing in the bay continues to entertain and put dinner on the table with Snappers and Blowfish adding to the fun.
The evil weather idiots have this - Variable clouds with scattered thunderstorms. High 78F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

And Another Nice One!
Expect IBSP to close again today with this lovely weather. Come early to avoid disappointment and also get ahead of the incoming traffic! Not much to report from the beaches yesterday. I suspect everybody was in kick back mode with the ideal weather? The boats did put some Fluke on the scale. Crabbing, Snappers and Blowfish in the bay made for lots of smiling faces!
The weather idiots have this - Sunshine and some clouds. High 81F. Winds SSW at 10 to 20 mph.

Two In A Row!
Another perfect beach day in the forecast (if the idiots have it right). Fluking from the beach is still a good bet with Bucktail Jigs tipped with Gulp a good option. There were lots of Blowfish in the Inlet and bay. Use Fishbites or Clams for these tasty dinner guests. The night bite of Sharks is on with Mackerel and/or Fresh Bunker on a Beach Shark Rig the way to go! Cow Nose Rays are here too so hang on to those rods. Crabbing is still good with Snappers and Blowfish keeping everybody busy while the crab traps are soaking.
The weather idiots have this - A mainly sunny sky. High 79F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph.

Gorgeous Beach Day!
If there is such a thing as too nice, todays forecast could be it (lets hope the idiots got this one right). Not a lot of reports from the beaches yesterday so keep working on the Fluke with those Bucktail Jigs tipped with Gulp. I saw a picture of an impressive Brown Shark surf caught Wednesday night using Mackerel. The Cow Nose Rays are here so hang on to those rods! The Crabbing is still good with Snappers and Blowfish adding to the fun!
The weather idiots have this - Mainly sunny. High 79F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph.
