No, you cannot enter now!

don′t know what he′s talking about. I start when it gets light and finish when it gets dark. Pretty simple to me.

Happy Easter!
We are open our usual hours today, open now and closing at 6pm!
Not as warm as yesterday but a fine looking day to hit the beach anyway. We didnt have a large turnout yesterday but there were some reports of short Bass, mostly on clams. The Polar Bear Tournament has gone into sudden death overtime! The first entrant to bring in a Bass will take the top prize, the next one gets 2nd place and then 3rd! One prize per entrant. No, you cannot enter now!

Lots of stuff happening all week, Scroll down to look at some of the previous reports.
Rt 35 Reconstruction Update - Avoid Rt 35 from Pt Pleasant to Seaside use Rt 37 - New detour - you come into Seaside on Sumner Ave from Rt 37. Make a right at the light onto Central Ave. Cross back to the southbound lanes at J St to make parking in the center median easier.
Mike is an excellent role model. He is exactly what you don′t want to become!

Chilly Start, Nice later!
Its looking like a really good beach day finally! A few more fisherman are showing up now too! We had some reports of short Bass on Clams yesterday. The Ocean water temps are still in the upper 40s but that looks like it will be climbing if Mother Nature behaves herself. The Polar Bear Tournament has gone into sudden death overtime! The first entrant to bring in a Bass will take the top prize, the next one gets 2nd place and then 3rd! One prize per entrant. No, you cannot enter now!

Good Lookin Day!
With no weather issues, we may see some fishermen on the beaches for a change. Reports from the surf are scarce but there are some short Bass taken on Clams. The Back Bays are getting more attendance and seeing some action, mostly at dusk? The Polar Bear Tournament has gone into sudden death overtime! The first entrant to bring in a Bass will take the top prize, the next one gets 2nd place and then 3rd! One prize per entrant. No, you cannot enter now!
The weather idiots have this - Overcast. High 46F. Winds NE at 10 to 15 mph.
All you procrastinators got lucky! Frankie has pretty much caught up to the reel repair backlog. Bring in those reels that need some TLC before the second wave hits! Same goes for Rod repairs and/or Custom Rods. Mike and Jeff are almost up to date and the wait time for a custom rod is minimal and we just got a shipment of Seeker Blanks. Maybe its time for that Baby Ulua Pencil popping rod you have been thinking about?
Chuck the Anchorman has dropped off some of his incredible wreck anchors. If you love wreck fishing, you gotta have one of these on your boat!
We are loaded up on ST CROIX, G-LOOMIS, TFO, TICA, & DAIWA rods. Our reel inventory is jammed, including all the popular sizes of ZEEBAAS and VAN STAAL reels. The Van Staal order we placed early this week has been shipped and now it looks like we will be placing another order Monday!
Mike is quite the thinking man. Someday it will pay off and he will have a thought!

Still Chilly But Nice
A little ENE wind to put a bit of a bump in the water today. The latest cruel joke Mother Nature played on us kept the beaches empty yesterday, hopefully we see some fishermen today.
The Polar Bear Tournament has gone into sudden death overtime! The first entrant to bring in a Bass will take the top prize, the next one gets 2nd place and then 3rd! One prize per entrant. No, you cannot enter now!
SEEKER has sent us a BIG box. Looks like Mike is adopting Rays buying habits!
The weather idiots have this - Except for a few afternoon clouds, mainly sunny. High near 45F. Winds ENE at 15 to 25 mph.

It′s not my fault he′s wrong all day every day.
Just got a box in from Seeker. Have some new toys the Pro React series blanks they are a heavy freshwater medium duty saltwater blank. They are 7′ and 8′ blanks. I also have some of the MGC (military grade composite) blanks in. They are super lite weight but Seeker strong. I also have the complete inshore series blanks in and also some of the factory made inshore series. If you saw the picture of me on the seeker fb page that rod was a csw 706 inshore and the tarpon was well over 100lb.. They are lite and strong as you can see. For you pencil popping boys and girls I have the Baby Ulua blanks in. These blanks make the best pencil popping rods I have ever seen. They are also great for plugging............. Now he′s going to complain I took up too much room on his report... ah get over it

What The........
Mother Nature played another cruel joke omn us again last night! Yesterdays rain changed over to sleet, hail and then (gasp) snow before ending. Gonna be a chilly start but much nicer later. No reports from yesterday. Most fishermen stayed home for some reason or another.
The Polar Bear Tournament has gone into sudden death overtime! The first entrant to bring in a Bass will take the top prize, the next one gets 2nd place and then 3rd! One prize per entrant. No, you cannot enter now!
More ST CROIX RODS have arrived! We now carry the Avid inshore, Avid surf, and Premier Boat rods. There were more Legends and Mojos in the box! Buy a ST CROIX rod and get a free hat while supplies last! Same deal with the TFO rods! More VAN STAAL reels are on the way and we reordered more Sunset Custom Plugs! Gonna buy a straight jacket for Ray!
The evil weatherman has this - Abundant sunshine. High 47F. Winds N at 20 to 30 mph.
