The fishing off the surf has been fantastic. Lots of bass falling for fresh clams, lots of bluefish hitting cut fresh bunker, poppers and plastic swimmers. And a surprising amount of nice sized fluke falling to, unsurprisingly, bucktails and Gulp!

A surprising amount of fluke has been caught this early in the season off the beach. Don’t forget to bring some bucktails and Gulp! with you when fishing the beach. Here’s @soggy.goggles with a good one.

While this upcoming weekend is Memorial Day weekend (We will have normal hours in the store, for those asking), Ray is looking forward to a holiday later in the summer. He is already preparing for it. No, not 4th of July. Here is Ray in his outfit of International Clown Week in August.
