Introducing the BKK Motherfluker Hook. Before you send in a strongly worded letter of complaint, read that again, there is an “L” in there.  These hooks are designed to be used with soft plastic jerkbaits, like Zoom Super Flukes, Lunker City Fin-S Fish, Ruthless Candy Jerkabits, Gulp! Jerk Shads, etc.  The laser-welded baitkeepers on the hook shank keep these soft plastics in place.  These hooks will also make great options for the teaser hook on a bucktail teaser rig meant for fishing fluke. 

The fishing is about the same as it was before the weekend.  Fluke in the surf taking bucktails and flavored soft plastics, and large toothy critters taking chunk baits (watch your rods).

The boats are starting to report fish in the near-shore ocean waters.  Bucktails and flavored soft plastics for those too.

Our cover:  Lou with a 3.65 fluke from the surf on Sunday. 

Some of the Grumpys crew got out this weekend to fish the JCSA and Point Pleasant Elks Fluke tournaments.  They won the JCSA and got third overall in the Elks.  Steve had the biggest fish in the boat with this 6.1 pound fluke.  New guy Brian did well also.

Scott is back from Florida and iCAST, and no one is happier about that than Ray is.
