Sliding Into Memorial Day Weekend...

On Thursday we received a special delivery from ODM, and we are now restocked in both the brick & mortar store and the online store of every ODM product, with a couple minor exceptions. Essentially, if we are out of stock, it means ODM was out of stock. One of the restocks was the Surfwave A.I.O. Single Tube bag. We had been out of stock for a while, and are happy to have back in one of the more surprisingly versatile surf fishing bags. We are also fully stocked in the standard Jigster Surf Rods, but they are available online only.
We have also restocked on our Grumpys Striper/IBSP T-shirts. All 4 colors now available again. Sizes up to 4XL.
The fishing remains good. It seems the drum bite has slowed a little, but they are still around. The striped bass are still cooperating in the surf for anglers using clams. Plus, they are starting to hit artificial lures like SP Minnows, Yo=Zuri Hydro Minnows, and Bombers.
The bluefish are still taking cut bunker or mullet, and are also hitting poppers.
The fluke are still in the surf and are hitting clams fished for stripers or drum, but are also taking bucktails and Gulp! for those actually targeting them.
It seems like a late boating season this year, but the boats who have been out recently have reported some nice striped bass on the troll on bunker spoons, mojos and deep diving plugs. We have even heard of a few fish over 50 inches caught.

When ODM stopped in with our order on Thursday, they also brought a surprise. Hot Korean Chicken for the crew. Now, some of us love spicy food and feel the spicier the better and nothing is too hot (Blackcloud Bob). Others of us like spicy food and can take the heat, but think Blackcloud Bob is a little extreme (myself). And then there is Ray, who says he likes spicy food, but pays for it every time he has it.
