First, some real quick shop news. We have added a new color of S&S Bucktails Savage Shad to both the Brick and Mortar and Online Store. Now available in Pink.
Opening day of striped bass in NJ was fruitful, though daytime seems to have been the right time to be out.
Our first set of reports came from members of the plastic armada. It seemed you needed a plastic boat to get them. I’m sure a fiberglass or wooden boat would have worked too, but all of our "at sea" photo reports came from plastic boats…

They were using S&S Bucktails Savage Shads with S&S Bucktails Northeast Jigs or WeFish Slowpitch jigs for these fish.
We also got some reports from the land-based anglers. No information on what these fish were taken on was supplied, just the “grip & grin” shots.
