Now on to the fishing report: The fishing remains status quo. The boats are having an epic striped bass season while the surf fishermen are still waiting for conditions to swing their way. Water temps are still a little warm along the beach for striped bass. We have been hearing of bass in the early morning and later evening, when the water is a little cooler, on plugs, swim shads, metals, and teasers. The bait game had been kinda slow so far this season, so if you are heading out, we recommend using artificial lures. What we keep telling our customers is that it can go for zero to 60 very quick this month, so be prepared for it to break wide open any day. I expect better reports in the next week.
