Handcrafted in Rhode Island, this shallow-diving swimmer produces the pronounced side-to-side swimming action that has made Danny plugs a longtime favorite among striped bass anglers.

Designed for a slow, steady retrieve, the Junior Danny delivers an enticing swimming action that imitates a struggling baitfish. Its shallow-diving design makes it an excellent choice for working the upper portion of the water column, particularly in areas where striped bass are feeding close to the surface. Its compact profile is especially useful when fish are targeting smaller baitfish or when a full-sized swimmer isn't necessary.

The Junior Danny is well suited for fishing the surf, rocky shorelines, inlets, and other shallow-water areas where striped bass and bluefish hunt. Its traditional metal lip and dressed single tail hook complete a proven presentation for targeting predatory gamefish.

Features:

Length: 4 1/2 inches (body only, excluding lip and tail hook)

Weight: 1 1/2 oz.

Classic Danny-style metal lip swimmer

Pronounced side-to-side swimming action

Shallow-diving design for fishing near the surface

Handcrafted wooden body

Stainless steel thru-wire construction

Durable automotive-grade paint and protective finish

Heavy-duty hooks and stainless steel hardware

Dressed single tail hook

Made in Rhode Island, USA

About Lemire's Plugworks

Handcrafted one at a time in Rhode Island, Lemire's Plugworks builds wooden fishing lures with an emphasis on performance, durability, and attention to detail. Each plug is individually turned, sealed against water intrusion, airbrushed, and finished with automotive-grade paints and protective coatings. Stainless steel thru-wire construction and heavy-duty components, including VMC 4X hooks, Wolverine stainless steel split rings, and Krok stainless steel swivels, provide the strength needed for demanding saltwater fishing. Designed and extensively tested by builder Alan Lemire Jr., these plugs are built to catch fish, not just look good in a tackle collection.

Note: This is a hand painted, handmade product using natural materials.
