S&S Bucktails John Skinner Blackfish Jigs were designed to help you hook and land more blackfish. They consist of a banana style lead head with a short gap 3X Mustad single hook. This sharp hook gives you a better hookup ratio than larger, wider gap hooks on other brand jigs.
With a flat bottom, the jig is designed to sit on the bottom with the hook bend pointing up. This allows the fish to take the hook into its mouth easily. The 3X strong Mustad hook is strong enough to pull big fish out of structure.
Not just for blackfish, these jigs also work for porgy, sheepshead and sea bass.
