Boasting Shimano’s Infinity Drive technology, Ocea Jigger offers paramount cranking power by reducing friction between the pinion gear and spool shaft, greatly improving rotational torque. Combined with MicroModule gearing, anglers will experience unmatched gear feeling. X-Protect enhances durability and water resistance by utilizing a water repellant coating and a labyrinth construction to funnel water away from key wear parts. The adjustable, two-position, long-crank handle combined with the Spool Lock allow anglers to more safely break off snagged lures. The Auto-Clutch easily engages the reel out of free spool to react to quick bites, and Shimano’s Exciting Drag Sound alerts anglers when they are in jeopardy of pulling hooks or breaking off. Shipping costs are calculated during the checkout process. Depending on the item(s) ordered, customers are presented with a choice of shipping options.  Oversize Items (such as fishing rods) or multiple package shipments may require additional charges. In-Stock items are usually shipped within 3 to 5 business days.  Customized items (such as reels pre-spooled with line) may take up to an extra two business days to ship to allow for the customizations to be made.  

Shipping costs are calculated based on the carrier/options chosen at checkout.  Shipping costs include the cost of the packaging.  

Free Economy Shipping is offered on orders over $100.00.  If this option is chosen at checkout, the carrier and service used to ship the order is determined by Grumpys Tackle at the time of order fulfillment.  Some items, such as fishing rods and other odd/over sized items, are excluded from the free shipping offer.  

Store pick up is available as an option, and is free.  Store pickup orders will be available in 2 to 4 business days.  Customized items, such as reels pre-spooled with line, may take up to an extra two days.  Customers will be notified by e-mail or text, per the customers preference, when the order is ready.  Orders will not be ready for pickup prior to the e-mail or text indicating so.  When picking up an order, a customer will be required to provide the order number and a valid form of ID.  Orders will not be released to anyone other that the customer who's name is on the invoice unless prior arrangements are made.  Orders are to be picked up at 906 NE Central Ave, Seaside Park, NJ and will be available from Sunday to Thursday, Noon to 7:00 PM.  

Shipping Fishing Rods:  We have customized our shipping of fishing rods to fall into 7 tiers.  All but the last tier (Tier MP - Market Price) are a flat rate to ship the rods.  Multiple factors went into determining which tier a rod will fall into, including but not limited to cost of the rod, size of the box needed to ship the rod, etc.  Rods may switch tiers due to the factors calculating their tier having changed.    To determine a shipping cost on a specific rod, add it to you cart and go through the checkout process to the shipping section.  

Returns & Exchanges

 

So you ordered the wrong size, wrong color, or the wrong style?  What do you do now?  At Grumpys we aim to please.  If an item was ordered in error, we can help make it right.  We will accept a return or exchange if the item or items are in new condition in the original, unopened package.  Simply send the package back to us with a copy of your invoice and a note explaining what you are sending back and why.  You are responsible for return shipping. Please ship with tracking and insurance for your protection.  The package is solely your responsibility until it arrives back at our shop.  Please allow 5-10 business days after delivery for a return/exchange to be received, inspected, and processed.  Exchange or refund amount excludes shipping charge. The customer is responsible for any additional shipping costs for exchanged items.  Please do not return any merchandise purchased online at the brick & mortar store.  All online purchases must be returned via the process above.

 

Within a 15-day period of time (from delivery date), Grumpys offers a no questions asked returns of new merchandise (must be unused). To qualify the item must be in brand new condition, not used, in their original box, including packaging materials, manuals, tags and accessories. After 15 days all returns must have our authorization (contact us here).)

Returns and Order Cancellations will be subject to a 5% processing/restocking fee unless issued online store credit for a future purchase. This credit will come in the form of a gift card that will be good for the online store only. 

We reserve the right to refuse any return at any time. No returns or exchanges on custom or special ordered merchandise, or merchandise specified to be exempt from our return policy in the product description.

 

   Defective, Damaged, Mis-shipped Merchandise

 

Please inspect your package carefully upon delivery.  If you receive defective, damaged, or items that you did not order, contact us immediately here). This claim must be brought to our attention within two business days of delivery receipt. At no cost to you, we will correct the issue as soon as possible and provide instructions on the return of merchandise in question.
