Winter Sale Weekend
First, shop news…
This weekend we will be having our annual Winter Sale. This is our biggest sale of the year. Do not miss out on these deals. We will have Scabelly Lures and SwimDuck lures in the shop on Saturday morning. This is your chance to get a lure directly from the builder and ask them questions on the use of their lures.
The Scabelly/SwimDuck line will start at our 2nd door and extend down the ramp and along the sidewalk to the north. While you may bring chairs to sit on while you wait, you need to remain in line. A chair by the door while you wait in a car, or go home to take a nap, will not save your space in line. Neither will a tent, table, Barcalounger, or guard duck.
We will also be having seminars, as shown above. The seminars are free, and will be held next door to Grumpys in Yakity Yaks Kayak Rental. Seating will be first come, first served. You may bring your own folding chair if you want to guarantee yourself a seat. Please do not bring a Barcalounger, as space will be limited.

As far as the fishing goes, Barnegat Bay is currently frozen over, so there have been no reports of white perch lately. About your only chance to bend a rod would be to jump on a party boat our of Manasquan, Brielle, Shark River or Barnegat for blackfish. The bite, however, has been slow.
This is a big weekend coming up for Raymond. No, not the Winter Sale. He has done this for the past few years and has become pretty good it. What is new for him is his favorite sports team, the Washington Commanders, are playing in the NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Ray has made a bet, as you can see in the video from The Fisherman Magazine and Jim Hutchinson Jr below. Ray is nervous…
